topic Child Tax Credit error in Deductions & credits

I had a recent update to turbo tax desktop that i believe affected the Child Tax Credit. Line 28 that should reflect the credit is now $0 and the schedule 8812 is reflecting a multiplier of $500 per child, which is not correct.

Can someone help me understand what is going on with the software?

AGI is under $115k for MFJ with 1 dependent under 6 and one under 12. This should result in $6,600 credit. $3,300 was received, but the remaining is not coming through on the tax return.. what's the deal??

To clarify,

could you tell us what you see on your 1040 Lines 19 and 28?

If those amounts are also wrong, did you try to go back through the interview for the Child and Other Dependent Tax Credit in the Step-by-Step screens?

both lines are showing at $0. The 8812 is pulling both kids in as "Other Dependents" vs. qualifying children. I went back to the dependent section and confirmed that everything has been entered correctly for the Children. I feel like there is a glitch in the system. Thank you in advance for your help!

There must have been some glitch in my program. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled. Once I got back in it was calculating the credits correctly again.

Thank goodness! I wish I would have thought to do that a long time ago!
