topic Where to note unanticipated estimated tax credit in Deductions & credits

After filing my 2020 return last year, I received a letter from the IRS in May saying that they had changed my 2020 form 1040 because of recent tax laws. They decreased my tax by $591 and applied it to my 2021 estimated tax. How do I allocate this in Turbotax? I pay estimated quarterly taxes already since I'm self-employed. Should I add this as an additional estimated tax payment? Thanks!

No. Add it as a refund applied to your 2021 taxes. In the "Estimates and other taxes paid" section use the "Income Taxes Paid" topic. Find the "Refund applied to 2021" item and enter the refund there.
