If you did not use any childcare provider in 2021 and therefore do not claim the Child and Dependent Care Credit then please see How do I delete Form 2441 for instructions on how to delete any information in this section.

When are we going to know more about this issue, and when will I be able to file taxes? It seems like the issue has been going on for a few days and a lot of us need to get this finished.

This is something that TurboTax is addressing and there is no known update for the timing for correcting the situation. If you have not already done so, take a look at the following TurboTax article and click the button inside the article to enter your email address so that you can be notified when an update has been released. It is important for TurboTax to gather this information in order to know how many users may be affected.

Exactly the same thing with me it would not delete because it's still saying the same thing. I am so very upset over this because unlike you and everyone else that needs their taxes done and the money right away we now have to wait for them to fix their mistake which God knows how long that's gonna be because I still haven't heard any word yet and this problem occurred last week

I'm in the same boat with you, this is so absurd. I started to file mine last Monday and it's still showing that same message about an SSN or E IN number when I didn't even report that I supported any daycare or dependent care

The programmers have not given a date that they expect this issue to be fixed but you can sign up to be emailed as soon as the fix is ready.
