The Child Tax Credit for tax year 2021 is $3,600 for children under the age of 6. For children age 6 thru 17 the Child Tax Credit is $3,000.

Thank you for asking this question! The child tax credit for 2021 is up to $3600 per child for ages five and younger and $3000 per child for ages 6 to 17. The income limits for the credit have not changed, but there are a few new tiers that qualify you for different credit levels.
