Yes can you please tell me how I received the first three payments and absolutely nothing changed I didn't make any changes to my account at all but I suddenly become ineligible and have not received the payment since October why is that

Unfortunately we would not be able to tell what happened with your advance child tax credit payments. It is all handled by IRS. Since you know you didn't make any changes, you should probably give IRS a call to inquire about the payments. The number to reach them at is 1-800-829-1040. We recommend calling at 7am in order to get into their queue as early as possible before their phone system is bombarded. They should be able to tell you what changed in their system that caused your payments to stop coming. If you are still going to be claiming the same dependents that you claimed in 2020, you will still put the Child Tax Credit on your 2021 tax return. The amount of the payments that you did not receive would be recouped on your tax return.

Would you have any suggestions or ideas why it may have changed because I have no idea in fact I made less money in 2020 than I did in 2019 I'm just I'm not sure what happened it just rained out just suddenly stopped

Honestly I have no idea what may have happened in the IRS system. They can tell you when you give them a call. Just remember to call early so you can get through to someone.

The IRS computer system is so old and patched that it's a miracle they get any work done at all.

With the child tax credit, the full amount will be credited to your tax return (based on your income and number of dependents) and you will get charged for the advance payments, and you will get the balance added to your refund. The advance payments change when you are paid but not the amount you receive.
