itemization vs. standard

Hi,

So we are filing jointly and we have a mortgage interest of 18k approximately and we get 10k cap of State and Local. Turbo tax is still doing a standard deduction for me....not sure why? 18+10=28 which is above the 24800 standard, correct?

Can you help?

If you marked MFS, the program will choose whichever is required. Otherwise, the program should be choosing the itemized. You can fill this form out for someone to call you to see if there is an issue.
