How do I know what income type to choose on foreign tax paid for an international fund shs? my 1099 DIV does not indicate. Would this be passive income?

the category is passive (not to be confused with other passive income like partnership income)

Not helpful, as there are many 1099 DIV foreign tax income options. My FI investment group was not able to assist with this question. Any other comments?

This is considered passive income made from an investment. Choose the passive category.
