      <description>Did you send the money directly to the HSA plan administrator, or was it through a payroll deduction program? In the latter case, it should have appeared on your W-2 in box 12 with a code of "W".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you sent the money directly to the HSA plan administrator, then do the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Go to the HSA interview (&lt;B&gt;Federal Taxes-&amp;gt;Deductions &amp;amp; Credits-&amp;gt;Medical&lt;/B&gt;, click on "HSA MSA Contributions")&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Proceed to the screen entitled "Let's enter [your name] HSA contributions" (see screenshot below).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Enter your contribution on the second line.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Be sure to finish the HSA interview (i.e.,&amp;nbsp; go until you are returned to the Your Tax Breaks screen)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, if you made the contribution through your employer, once you enter the code W amount on your W-2, then you are finished. TurboTax will handle the rest.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
