Charitable Contributions Line 10b Error Fixed Yet?

I am encountering the same error that has been reported repeatedly about being unable to e-file without entering something in my 1040's line 10b (Charitable Contributions), even though I am itemizing. None of the workarounds suggested on the community boards (e.g. leaving the field blank) have been successful. I'm wondering if TurboTax has resolved this apparent bug yet?

It is important to run through the Deductions and Credits section to allow TurboTax to optimize the deductions to itemizing.

To make sure the program is free to fully update, try these troubleshooting tips:

Check for updates and close the program for the CD/Download, or close the program and the browser window for TurboTax Online. Re-open using Chrome on a Windows 10 device.
It is also important that any amounts entered as overrides are cleared.
Delete and re-enter something on the itemized deductions that would make you better off to take the standard deduction.
- Run through the rest of the interview and clear anything on screens that relate to the Cares Act before re-entering the deduction that would optimize you to itemize deductions.

I'm using Turbo Tax Online so I've closed and re-opened the browser, tried different browsers, altered deductions (before fixing them back) to qualify for the standard deduction to make sure CARES-related items are clear. What is left to do except wait on Turbo Tax to fix this issue...?

I think it would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2020" file that is experiencing this issue. You can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions:

For TurboTax Online:

From the left menu, click Tax Tools.
Tools.
Share my file with agent click Send.
There will be a pop-up with a token number.
