Yes, homestead is residential homestead. Otherwise, you would choose commercial.. Form M1PR instructions - Minnesota Department of Revenue shows options of: homestead, non-homestead, commercial and special homestead (blind or disabled).

If you are using TurboTax Online, when you click the down arrow and select 1a from the dropdown list it will be calculated as residential homestead for the Property Tax Refund Credit.
