      <description>&lt;P&gt;for Federal purposes there is no need to enter this info if you are not itemizing. however, some states allow itemized deductions even if the federal doesn't.&amp;nbsp; to give you more guidance, if you need to file a state income tax return, what state?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
