I was told that since I worked from home for 9 months that I could deduct a portion of my home, our office and some of the utilities. in what section in deduction category, would I enter that amount. Also Is there a cap on the amount?

But the tax code overhaul paused that ability until the provisions sunset at the end of 2025.

Self-employed taxpayers and independent contractors still can claim the deduction."
