&lt;LI&gt;You don't get the benefit if you are taking the standard deduction.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;If you itemize deductions, you will only be able to take&amp;nbsp;total&amp;nbsp;medical expenses that are&amp;nbsp;greater than:&lt;/LI&gt;
