topic 1098T in Deductions & credits

I claimed my son and I included his 1098T on my return. I was not eligible for the education credit. He is filing a return and checked yes that someone else could claim him and entered my information. Since I was not eligible for the credit, can he include it when he files? I don't think it's double dipping since my return was not impacted by the amount and I didn't receive the credit.

No, both of you can enter the information but only you can claim the education deduction if you claim him as dependent.
