      <description>&lt;P&gt;You cannot claim the childcare credit without the SSN or EIN from the provider. Your provider could obtain an ITIN for a non-citizen which could be used for the childcare credit.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Without that information, you can't take the credit. Using a Form W-10 will not solve the problem of not having an identifying number.&lt;/P&gt;
