When I enter my dependent son's SSAN, my refund drops by $1100 dollars. Why?

Please try to delete an reenter your son's information, make sure the box under the SSN is not accidently checked and then go back to the EIC section:

Login to your TurboTax Account
Click "My Info" from the left side of your screen
Click “trash icon” next to your son's name
Click "Add dependent" to reenter his information

To get back to EIC section:

Click on the Search box on the top and type "EIC"
Click on “Jump to EIC”

Thank you for your help, but it didn't work; same problem keeps recurring. Have contacted TurboTax; they weren't sure why it's happening. They are researching and hope to have an answer on Thursday.
