<title>topic Do I qualify for the EIC? in Deductions &amp; credits</title>
    <link>https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-credits-deductions/discussion/do-i-qualify-for-the-eic/01/140273#M18919</link>
<description>Last year, I was working abroad until 01/15. I then traveled around for 6 weeks, returned to the US for 5.5 months, then went abroad again to work. It says in the help box that vacation counts toward the 6 month requirement for the EIC; I consider the time I spent traveling after my previous employment to be vacation. Do I qualify for EIC?</description>
