I understand this form has been updated, however, when I enter the 1099R, it is not prompting any Cares Act questions. I have gone through the entire process to the end and never gives me an option to see if I am eligible and to spread the tax liability over the 3 years. Any trick to make this form an option?

Are you using the online of desktop version for TurboTax?

If the distribution was for pension/retirement income you receive on a regular basis then there will not be any Covid-19 related questions since it would not be eligible.

If this was a distribution you took because of Covid-19 then after completing the 1099-R the program will ask, after about 4 or 5 other questions, if this withdrawal was due to Covid-19 or a Qualified Disaster Distribution. If you do not see this screen then delete the Form 1099-R and re-enter manually.
