Missing form 4562

I keep getting this message "Depreciation and Amortization Under Construction"

It says that the IRS is still working on form 4562. Expected date is January 2020. Ive done all of the updates but still no luck. Can you help?

Are you using Turbotax for some past tax year? The 2019 program has had the forms available since mid January 2020. Click "ONLINE" at the top and select the option to check for updates.

It may be necessary for you to uninstall the program, reboot your computer, and then re-install the program. Take note that doing this will ***NOT*** delete your .tax2019 data file. But you should back it up first anyway.

Form 2018, form 4562 was automatically prepared when I printed my return. This is not the case in 2019.

I uninstalled and re-installed the program, obtained updates, as suggested in this forum and I am still missing form 4562 when printing my return.

I even used Forms to download 4562 - but it is a blank form and not completed.

How do I correct this error?

If you did not add an asset in 2019 then a Form 4562 would not be included with the 2019 tax return.

Your prior year assets will be on the Form 4562 Worksheets, the Asset Entry Worksheets and on the Depreciation and Amortization Report when you download the PDF from Print Center to include all forms and worksheets.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2019 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

Using the desktop editions click on Forms. When in Forms mode the worksheets will be listed on the left side of the screen.
