Child Tax Credit vs. Credit for Other Dependents

I'm reviewing my returns now and see that Turbo Tax chose the "Credit for Other Dependents" option as opposed to the Child Tax Credit. I am not sure why it chose this as it never asked me that particular question. My Son was born in December 2019 so shouldn't the Child Tax Credit be the correct route and not the Credit for Other Dependents?

Be sure that you said that the child lived with you all year which is the correct response for a new born.

I am having the same problem. My daughter was born in 2006

Verify the information for that particular dependent. To aid you, check the link below. It is oriented towards added or removing a dependent but follow the guidance & you will see an edit option.
