    <description>&lt;P&gt;there is no reason from a federal standpoint that you can't do a Married Filing Separate return.&amp;nbsp; between you and your spouse you can divide the dependents any way you agree to.&amp;nbsp; however, I can't say whether or not you'll end up paying more in taxes then you might lose in the value of the food stamps.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We will both be filing separately. Just freaked out, read a question on here similar to mine &amp;amp; someone else answered that food stamp office will consider you a fraud?! But then a like to TANF was put. So idk if u understood wrong or the other person answering did.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
