Doing my daughters taxes. Last year she was single, August 1, 2019 she is common law. Last year I put her daughter as "equivalent to spouse". Of course I cannot do that this year, but when I attempt to enter her daughter as an eligible dependent I have problems with this. I filled out the dependent information and then it does not carry over to the sch5! I saw someone else had a problem and went to the info page and made sure the first line was a yes for the first question in the spouse or commonlaw section an it is a YES. When I click on the box 5529 It bring me to the initial page where I have entered address, sin and the common law and the date. No matter what I do I am constantly moving back and forth between the Sch 5 and Supplementary SCH 5. Please help!
