If I own a home & did substantial work to be energy saving. Example, installed a new air condition and a-coil, installed new insulated garage doors. Is there anywhere I can deduct these costs? Thank you.;

These are not deductions ... however you may get a small credit instead ...

In TurboTax, open your tax return
Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Deductions & Credits on top of the screen
Scroll down to All Tax breaks, locate the section Your Home and click on Show more
Click Start next to Home Energy Credits (see screenshot)

Follow the interview to enter your information

Now my question/concern is whether or not garage doors qualify as exterior doors. ???? Thanks.

Line 19b. Enter the amounts you paid for exterior doors that
meet or exceed the version 6.0 Energy Star program requirements.
