If your car registration fees plus the few other itemized deductions (mortgage interest &amp;amp; property taxes), aren't more than that amount - the software gives you the best option; the standard deduction.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are a few other itemized deductions but TurboTax will ask you in a way that says, "Do you have medical expenses more than $X,YZY." because it's calculating the amount you would need to have for them to impact your deduction (so you don't waste your time). &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you aren't itemizing and would like to get back to the free version of TurboTax, follow the directions below, but don't try to enter these expenses.&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4248526" target="_blank"&gt;https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4248526&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
