deductions on rental apt.

I entered all deductions for a rental apartment, but the total I get from Turbotax is short by $199.00 Why would that be? Yes, I checked my numbers several times.

One possibility for the difference in the expenses that you entered and the expenses shown on your return could be that some of the expenses are being prorated for personal use of the rental apartment.

Be sure to double check you entries with regard to personal use days and fair rental days.
