topic listing dependents in Deductions & credits

I have used Turbo tax for many years and every year it list all my children. It pulls the information from the previous years return. They are all out of the house and filing on their own. Do I need to still list them

You need to delete them if you are not claiming them as dependents.

Ok but this year Turbo Tax let us get a $500 deduction for one of them even though we said they did not live with us and we did not support them.
