My spouse is a retired EMS/Fire dispatcher and a member of the WA State Law Enforcement and Firefighters Plan 2 retirement plan. (LEOFF2). Dispatchers were allowed into the plan if they dispatched fire and ambulance, and were required to be Emergency Medical Technicians. Do they qualify under the member of an ambulance or rescue squad as they were the radio dispatchers for such services and in the public safety retirement plan?

Thank you very much - the "provision" aspect looks like it covers it. Much appreciated.
