      <description>&lt;P&gt;As long as your name is on the mortgage, you can claim 1/3 (or some other percentage that you all agree on... e.g., 40%, 40%, 20%, 100%, 0%, 0%, etc.) of the mortgage interest and real estate taxes if you paid for those.. Obviously, all of your shares can not add up to more then 100% of the total mortgage and/or real estate amounts.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
