I don't want to claim the American opportunity tax credit Even though I qualify for it. It seems Turbo tax can only let me avoid this credit if I claim

I've already taken exhausted the credit (False information in my case)

I've already acquired 4-year worth school credit(false as well)

I've committed felony (okay NO)

Question:

Does turbotax support any sane option for offing this credit? Like Thank you America but I'm good this year?

Simply skip that education section ... remove the 1098-T if you do not wish to take the credit.

Hey, thanks but the whole point of my question was to submit accurate information to the IRS while avoiding to claim the tax credit. I am not sure if skipping the education section is okay
