Can I Deduct mileage from home to pick up and from drop off to home with doordash?

I just started driving for Door Dash and I was wondering if I could Deduct mileage from home to pick up and from drop off to home with door dash?

The miles from home to where you pick up and from drop off to home are commuting miles and are not deductible.

Ok thanks so much. Seems like its hard to find a direct answer to this. I find it that some say you can and some say you can't. So basically only the miles I accumulate from first pick up to last drop off for the day?

Yes you can only deduct mileage from first pickup to last drop off for the day. The only persons who can claim mileage from home to job and from job to home are persons whose home is their principal place of business.
