Two Different Amounts Shown

I am e-filing my Alabama state taxes.

In the upper left, Turbo Tax shows that I am getting a $738 refund.

However, On the "You're Almost Ready to File" screen, it says that the charge for e-filing is $25 and that my total refund is $681. This is a difference of $57.

I checked the actual Alabama form in the FORMS section, and the refund amount is $738. i do not see any fees or purchases that add up to $57.

I would rather not e-file if I'm not getting my full refund.

Is this a software issue?

Try this and see if this clears the issue for you. Please log completely out of TurboTax. Then, in your browser, please clear your cache and delete your cookies. After this, close completely out of the browser. Re-open everything including logging back into TurboTax. Also, you can try completing your return in a different browser as well.

Thank you for your response. However, I am not using the online version of TurboTax. I am using a downloaded version of TurboTax Deluxe.

Do you Owe any taxes on the Federal tax return? (like $57)

There is one screen, during the filing process, that shows the net-effect of BOTH tax returns, but they are still handled separately. (thousands pf people misinterpret that screen...if that's the one you are looking at.)

I owe $57 to Dederal.
