Filing FED return and extending STATE deadline

Is it possible --- using Turbo Tax (CD version) to file Federal return now but ask for an extension of State return,

OR is the extension function for both together?

It depends upon the state as some require the federal extension to extend the state return. Please note, the federal tax returns are not due until May 17, 2021
