Free State Tax forms

I bought TurboTax Deluxe 2020 in NV. I lived for 2 months in OR, then moved to NV. I can't D/L the Oregon forms to file in OR unless I pay $45? This has been free to D/L in the past (not to file, but just too D.L the forms). I bought the software in NV which has no State Tax - is this the reason why I can't D/L the Oregon forms?

TurboTax Deluxe comes with one state download included, which would cover your Nevada return if that is the state you started working on first. For each additional state, there is a $45 fee. The state of Oregon does offer free fillable forms on their website here.

@MikeInNV Yes. You probably bought the Deluxe version that does not include a state program. In the stores Deluxe comes 2 ways, Deluxe with state and Deluxe without states for states like Nevada that don't have a income tax.

Sorry then you will need to buy each state program or try to return your Deluxe and get the one with a state. I imagine the stores in Nevada sell both. Or buy online. Be sure to get the one that says +State.

you can always get the tax forms from the state Dept of revenue website.

Note: Oregon tax return is weird. If you try to do it yourself, the first time, you will probably do it wrong.

The good news. OR will correct your errors for you quickly.
