When you enter a form 1099-DIV and choose the I'll type it in myself option, you are not asked to enter any address information. So, I don't understand why the address is an issue.

You would think the missing state and Zip wouldn't be an issue, but Turbotax will not let me complete the process so I can submit my taxes. That's why I'm here trying to find a solution. That is the only thing preventing submission.

Form 1099-DIV itself does not ask for any address information. If you lived in foreign country, you are allowed to e file with the foreign address. However,

IRS regulations require a U.S. bank account to receive your tax refund, and you'll need a U.S. bank account (or credit/debit card with a U.S. billing address) if paying additional federal taxes owed.

For more information, click here: US address is required.

Since you mentioned the Form 1099-DIV, if you pay taxes on your foreign dividends to both foreign and US government, you may take a foreign tax credit on Form 1116.

Here are the steps:

In TurboTax online,

Open up your TurboTax account and select Pick up where you left off

At the right upper corner, in the search box, type in "foreign tax credit" and Enter

Select Jump to foreign tax credit

Follow prompts
