Mi Retrun won't efile

I have been able to efile and received federal return with no issues. Was waiting for the forms to be completed for pension for state of Michigan. They have been completed. Went in to try and efile and it won't let me, says federal must be efiled to proceed. I am using the desktop windows version. Co-worker was in the same situation regarding forms and she is using the web version and was able to efile with no issue.

Might depend on the particular situation...BUT there currently IS a software situation where many people cannot file their state forms separately, after the Federal was filed eariler ...... but it's due fixed by/on/after 19 March. Wait a few days and try again later this weekend.
