Why aren't the Other taxes (self employment tax) filtering from the Federal return to line 10. Other tax from federal return on my Missouri tax return?

Only federal income tax is deductible. The State of Missouri allows a deduction on your individual income tax return for the amount of federal tax you paid. The deduction is for the amount actually paid as indicated on your Federal Form and NOT the amount withheld by your employer that is listed on your Form W-2.

My total federal tax is $35,055, Line 22 of $19,518 and Line 23 of $15,537 (self-employment tax, not withholding). On the Missouri form, Line 9 is showing the $19,518, but Line 10 (Other tax from federal return) is blank. Shouldn't that be the $15,537 figure? None of these figures are withholding or estimated tax payments. Thanks.

No, SE tax is not federal tax. The 15.3% self-employed SE Tax is to pay both the employer part and employee part of Social Security and Medicare. So you get social security credit for it when you retire. MO does not allow deductions for contributions to Medicare and Social Security.
