@breannashores If you notice the document link that @xmasbaby0 provided, Oregon does not treat your income earned while you have been telecommuting from Washington as taxable to Oregon if you are a Washington resident. If Oregon tax has already been withheld from any income, however, you will need to reconcile this through the tax return. On the Oregon nonresident return, your income reported to Oregon on your W2 will pre-populate. However, you will be provided a box to override that entry.

In that box, you will input the actual amount of income you earned while working physically, not remotely, in Oregon. If your company has that information, that would be the best. If you are able to track it yourself (perhaps using your pay stubs throughout the year as a guide), then you can use that number. Either way, the tax withheld on income earned while working from home should be refunded to you.

A certificate won't help if the tax has already been withheld. A certificate will allow your company to stop withholding Oregon tax while you are working from home, and does not need to be provided with the tax return. In fact, if you choose to e-file (once the e-filing season opens in 2020) the 2020 return, you do not need to "automatically" provide documentation unless and until Oregon asks for it. Then you can submit your proof of the amounts you claim.
