Error in VA e-file attempts say "Request failed: bad request (400)

Please help! I tried to e-file my federal and VA state return together but kept getting the error message "Request failed: bad request (400)". So I e-filed just my federal return and it went through. Getting the same error message when I now try to e-file my VA state return by itself. In review process prior to e-filing, it says no errors and ready to e-file. I'm using the TurboTax CD for Home & Business for Windows & Mac. What gives? I've paid to e-file my VA return so I'd rather not now have to file by mail. Help!

Also, my federal return has been accepted by the IRS so it's not that. Help!

Did you ever get a resolution to this problem. I have the same issue trying to efile federal and GA state. I will attempt to efile federal alone as you did.

I'm sorry to say that I did not. Was never able to e-file my VA return and had to file by mail. I actually got someone from TurboTax on the phone and they were not able to help nor explain the error message. Not sure I'll be using TurboTax next year. Anyone know of a good replacement?
