    <description>&lt;P&gt;Do I have to pay for the 2nd state to get the information need for Credit for taxes paid to another state.&amp;nbsp; Is there a way to separate the figure and manually enter on my home state return.&amp;nbsp; Ridiculous to have to pay $44 for a piddley little capital gain.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, if you need to file the additional state return. Each state has different filing requirements. If it is a state with a minimum filing, you may not need to file the state and the tax would be zero.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I&amp;nbsp; had a capital gain of 7k&amp;nbsp; for&amp;nbsp; RE in VA, NC is the home state. Our&amp;nbsp; AGI is 78K.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
