    <description>&lt;P&gt;When trying to submit my state (SC) tax forms, a get an error message which causes the software to close. I re-opened the program, and it indicates that my taxes were not submitted. &amp;nbsp;I tried to submit again and the same error occurred. &amp;nbsp;However, my debit card was still charged the $24.99 fee. &amp;nbsp;Federal taxes went through. &amp;nbsp;Any idea what happened and whether or not the state taxes were actually submitted???&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There are a couple of things that you can try to&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;get past this snag,&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Try closing TurboTax,&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Compete a&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;disk cleanup&lt;/STRONG&gt;,&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Restart your&amp;nbsp;computer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If this doesn't work try this:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If you've enabled&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;pop-up blocking&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;in your web browser, please&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;turn it off&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;and try again.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If it's still not working, try again&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;using a different web browser&lt;/STRONG&gt;. (For example, if you're using Chrome, try using Explorer or Safari instead.)&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If those suggestions didn't help, try going back to your first browser and&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;delete cookies.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your reply. &amp;nbsp;But the version of TurboTax that I'm using is the downloaded version and not the on-line version. &amp;nbsp;The downloaded version will now not open. It worked fine when I used it to complete my federal and state returns. Now, I launch the application, it connects to the server looking for the latest updates and then shuts down. &amp;nbsp;It will not open. &amp;nbsp;I am using it on my McBook air OS 10.14.6&lt;/P&gt;</description>
