      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since you lived in FL part of the year and GA part of the year, you were a part-year resident of each state and would file a part-year resident return for GA.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;However, since you continued to work in GA while you were a FL resident, the income earned in GA will be taxed by GA.&amp;nbsp; The end result will probably be the same whether you file a part-year resident or full-year resident return for GA, unless you also had other sources of income during the time you lived in FL.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Since FL does not impose an income tax, you would not have a FL return to consider.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
