Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.

what it says is that your state RETURN (the filing) was accepted. the state still has to process it. make sure there are no errors. then at some point they'll get around to issuing a refund. the state website may have a way to check refund status.
