I purchased and downloaded state software of a computer I no longer have. Can I download to another computer?

Yes! You have 3 years after purchase to download the software.

Are you filing a separate return for her? You will have to follow the steps in this link: Solved: How do I file another return? - TurboTax- then she would qualify for the free state on the "new" account.
