State Tax question

If I bought a car in 2019 and paid sales tax, does that affect the amount I get on my state return?

It was added in the state tax on the federal not the state.

This expense is used to determine if you use the standard deduction or itemized deductions. It will not specifically affect your state refund amount.

There was no where on the state potion to add the tax from the vehicle. It was however on the federal. Did I miss it on the state/

This is entered in the federal portion. You will not receive a separate state question.
