&lt;P&gt;State income tax returns can either be e-filed&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;with&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;your federal return, or e-filed or mailed&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;after&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;your federal return has already been accepted by the IRS, which normally takes a day or two.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;When you get to the&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;File&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;section in the program, you can select e-file for your federal and print and mail for your state return. TurboTax will ensure that you have all the forms you need when you mail your state return.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, I have done this previously.&amp;nbsp; You can just print the state tax forms and mail them in.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
