TurboTax is telling me that I can't file state online. "Utah return filed under special instructions..." No way to fix or investigate further... Is there a bug or a fix?

This is happening to us as well. It's saying that "Utah Return filed under special instructions where the filing status is different from the federal return is not eligible for electronic filing." I can't find the place to change the filing status in the State Taxes, and it should have selected to have it be the same filing status. I think it might also be impacting the amount we should be getting on our state tax return.

I'm getting the exact same thing. Something is wrong. I've been using turbo tax for years and have never seen this before.

I'm having the same issue in addition to the fact that turbo tax is not calculating a payment or return amount. I find it hard to believe that I don't owe anything not get any return. What are the odds?

I closed turbo tax and reopened it and it fixed my issues.

Same here...simply closed out and reopened. Fixed the issue.
