It depends.

If you live in IN and work remotely for a company located in ND then you would only have IN-source income. You would only need to report this income on your IN resident state income tax return. (Work is sourced where to where the work is performed so no ND nonresident state income tax filing would be required (unless claiming a refund for ND withholdings)

If you are remote worker, in
order to get the full refund of your ND state income tax withholdings, you will
need to file a nonresident ND return but report zero "0" income from
ND. You
must mail in this ND nonresident state income tax return and include your state
W-2 information. You will want to include an explanatory statement with your ND
return stating your situation (that your ND employer withheld ND taxes from
your wages in error since you work remotely).

However, if you live in IN and performed work in ND, then you will need to file a ND nonresident state
income tax return (for your ND source income only - your ND wages). You will
also need to file an IN resident state tax return (for all income from all
sources including ND wages). You will get a state income tax credit in IN for
any ND state income taxes that you paid on your nonresident ND state income tax
return. The credit for taxes paid to another state section will be at the end of your residence state's interview process.

Just
follow the TurboTax guide when working on your states (remembering to do your
nonresident state return first) and TurboTax will do all the calculations and
credits to your resident states return.

Here
is additional information about filing in multiple states (select "see
more answer" to view the entire attachment)
