<title>topic Out of state income in State tax filing</title>
    <link>https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/state-taxes/discussion/out-of-state-income/01/662443#M31044</link>
<description>I worked for a company in California which is out of state. I did not live there at any point. When I add my wife's W-2 into the system I start to owe the state of California, so it looks like they are taxing my wife's income which she did not earn from that state so they have no claim to it. Is there a way to file my income taxes with the state of California without including my wife's?</description>
