I installed Turbo Tax Deluxe with the State of North Carolina. Same as for the last 12 years. When it updates it always says it is updating the State of Virginia.

Assuming you are using the desktop software.....that's something we've complained about...TTX will pre-download a state you used once in 2000 B.C. Even if you haven't needed it for the last 4000 years.

waste of space, waste of time. But you don't have to use it and don't have to pay for it either. Mine downloads 6 different states..of which I use/pay for 2 of them. (well, one free, and pay for the one extra)
