CPO5 is the type of notice it is. Your return has been selected to be reviewed by the IRS. They review certain items on your return. There is usually no need to be concerned and it is often random selection. If they need further information, they will send you a letter asking for more details.

It will most likely take the full 60 days. The IRS states the following: "Please do not call us until 60 days after the notice date and only if you haven't received your refund or heard from us by then."

I'm wondering the same I got my notice cp05 on March 21,2022 and wanted to know if anyone has gotten there refund before the 60 day mark

Right they also say "we can take UP TO 60 days so I'm really hoping its less than that I need this refund now more than ever this has never happened to me and I copied every number accordingly with my w2s so not sure why this is happening. This waiting game sucks
